When the pandemic hit, every student had to go back home. Some students that moved across seas, and states most likely didn't have the luxury of being able to go back home. I chose this image to talk about the opposite for students that weren't able to go back to their actual homes and had to stay put where ever they were and had deal with the consequences of the pandemic.

This image shows that every student had to learn everything online but also had to teach themselves most of the time because the professor or teacher wasn't in touch with technology. It only made things worse for students because they had to work harder just to understand and pass a class that would have been much easier in person.

This image shows the after effects of the lockdown. Once vaccines started going out and cases started going down. Many colleges started doing small in persons classes that many students felt joy towards. Many students prefer in person classes especially if it's a subject that needs a lecture in person to fully grasp.

I created this exabit to show how online learning isn't as great as the media talks about it or how some teachers see it. This exabit is to show how the long-term effects of online learning impact a student's daily life and academic performance. This is important because how we dealt with online learning for the first was our best at the time but it truly wasn't all that great when we look at how it affected students.
What I want people to take away from this exhibit is that if there was another global lockdown and we had to switch to online learning again, we should be able to handle it better compared to 2020 - 2021 with different ways to give work to students without making it their 9 to five job and finding ways to bring some form of social aspect rather then having students be by themselves 24/7 every day.

I chose this image to represent how students felt during the half way point of lockdown. With being isolated, everyday online lectures, and massive workloads left many students tired of online learning. Students started feel more hopeless about their future because of their academic performance slowly going down due to being confined to their homes everyday.
