To represent the Boys Club in the Golden Gloves Championship Tournament, they had to fight each other. They decided to fight like strangers and after the fight to continue to be friends as before. They decided not to meet each other till the day of the fight.

On the day of the fight, Tompkins Square Park, where the fight was taking place, filled with people as they were curious to see how these amigo brothers were going to fight. But as the fight began they forgot everything about their friendship and started fighting ferociously. The spectators even got frightened seeing their savagery.

When the fight was over, the announcer turned to point to the winner but Antonio and Felix were not there. They had left the ring arm in arm. Whatever be the decision of the referee, they knew that they would always be champions to each other.

Amigo brothers is a short story set in new York City.

Two seventeen year-old boys have grown up to be great friends and more like brothers. Boxing is the first love and both are selected for the golden gloves championship tournament.

Now there is a difficulty between there friendship and the golden gloves championship.

They have the same training ethics and dreams ,but the situation demands the impossible -hurting one another,still being friends.

The friends decide to train separately and not see each other unit the day of fight and promised to not see eachother not to see and think about eachother.

On the final day ,the two brothers fight round , after round , each boxer taking a beating.

Ignoring the final bell , the brothers walk out of the ring , arm-in-arm before the

Winner is announced.

In the first round of they both were having equal points. In second round as well. Before the third round would be started the coaches called them and said that you need to punch 👊👊 not only defend and attack. The third round was also started. They punched each other, but still they were same. The match was ended, without listening to the final result they both put there hands on each other's soldier and went from the ring. The narrator was shoked to see there friendship.

they both were having a dream of becoming the lightweight boxing champion they both used to go in Boys club along with short towels around there necks and handkerchiefs around there foreheads with a sweatshirt. After a series of elimination they both were in finals and they both will fight with each other and who will win so he will represent boys club in golden gloves championship tournament. There were only some days left for the fight and now they both have started meeting each other less, Antonio used to wonder that how fight would affect there friendship while Felix was preparing himself for fight he was not caring about there friendship je used to watch movie name The champion a third time to keep Antonio out of his mind . Now the day has come when they will fight when first round has started so Felix started attacking to Antonio and Antonio was defending himself at second round Felix rushed like a bull to Antonio and they both were punching each other at third round that was final round and again they both were fighting after the end of fight when refree was announcing the winners and when he turned back than he see that both had already left ring.
