Some of the characteristics they have are forward facing eyes which allows them to precisely look at distances as they move. Also they have flexible fingers and toes which help them move easily through the rain forest. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chimps and orangutans have similar bone structures. For example they both have teeth like fangs to help them get small animals for food.<br>Also Apes and chimpanzees use there feet like hands. For example if they were picking something up they would use there feet.<br>Last orangutans and apes have similar ear functions. They can detect the temperature with there ears.  Also they have mobile shoulders which help them move there arms quicker, and it is due to the dorsal position of the scapula which is the shoulder bone.</div>]]></description>

Apes rely on vision more rather then smell. This is because they have good vision while there olfactory senses are not as developed.
