Our memorial is about the Berlin Airlift. The Berlin Airlift is when US troops dropped necessities of life to struggling people in Berlin. The plane we made with play doh represents US troops trying to get to Berlin to help people in Berlin. Our memorial is simple because it represents how people lived in Berlin after WWII. It is a little girl waiting for the parachute of  candy to drop down to her. It also represents the Chocolate pilot who drops the parachutes that have delicious candy in them. The little girl represents all the children and the parachute represents all the food dropped. We chose the Berlin airlift because it shows a since of hope. That is what our memorial shows.
