Our lord is holy so he expects as to be holy as well. Purgatory is the state of being where the soul goes when a person died without having the chance to repent. Just like how the seraphim’s cried out for the Lord. The souls in the purgatory also do such acts. They call out to God, trying to reach out for salvation and the attempt to enter the paradise. As the pain and agony in the purgatory is still greater than the pain and agony in the earth. When I read upon this passage. I reflected that we never know when we will die and to not end up in purgatory or even experience the pain in there. No one wants to experience that pain, we all should change our ways. It is time that we repent from our sins, to start doing what the Lord wants us to do. 

Purgatory is place where the souls is purge for the cleansing of the soul or purification. When you have impurity and still have some sin you cannot enter the kingdom of God. You will dwell in the purgatory until the time the soul is clean, then after the purification process then you shall ascend with angels to get you and help you enter Heaven. The passage hit me deeply. As I know I am not a pure person. I do mistake, I lie and do abominable thing. I am afraid that my name is not written in the Lamb’s books of life. Though I lie, my conscience could not take it so I actually give up then rather tell the truth. Even though I sin. I try to ask for forgiveness to God. All of us shall ask for forgiveness as we are mortals who commit sin.
