1.Covered with semiconductor: electricity can pass through with some effort
2. Photons (light particles) hit electrons in semiconductor
3. Electron knocked loose
4. Other electrons take its place
5. This causes movement of electrons as more electrons are knocked loose and  replaced: flow of electrons = electric current

Solar energy Information.
1. Solar power means energy from the sun.
2. Solar energy is used to generate electricity, using solar panels.
3. Solar panels require solar cells. Which need to be created from already-existing materials like silicon, and those are not unlimited
4.Because of this, solar energy usage isn’t as high as it could be.                             5. Solar energy is a renewable resourcera

Conclusion
  • Not efficient (15-20%), lot of space, only work when sunny
  • BUT scientists are working to make them cheaper and more efficient
