It has similar affects to the withdraw stages but must be proceeded with caution as if you are heavily addicted, it would be risking fatality if you stop taking the drug completely. The most common form to treating this addiction is to slowly ease off the drug. Also, intervention and family assistance is the best at treating the addiction. Also, there is medication that can be used to reverse the effects of Benzo's, similar affects to narcan in Heroin patients.
