         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The rise of Islamic fundamentalists began after traditional Islam society began to disappear due to the Shah's focus on Westernization </p><p><br/></p></li><li><p>During the revolution around 1978, there were no major factions who opposed the Shah that was until 1779 when Ayatollah Khomeini was the first to rise to leadership against the Shah </p><p><br/></p></li><li><p>Ayatollah Khomeini's attacks against the Shah were mostly religious but did involve fighting for the rights of the poor and economics</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Islamic Fundamentalists after the revolution still fight for rights for example Islamic Fundamentalists after the revolution the people of Islam still desire more freedom and opportunities </p><p><br></p></li><li><p>The new Islamic Fundamentalists have gathered an alliance of the poor and women's groups to help in the revolution although it isn't as big as the revolutions during the revolution they still made headlines in Iran</p><p><br></p></li><li><p>The New Islamic fundamentalists are protesting against the  religious leaders because the groups were  promised that their lives would improve after the revolution but never improved</p></li></ul>]]></description>
