Nonliving and living things are important to the envierment because if we did not have the sun or the plants the animals that eat the plants would die, and the animal the eat that eats the other animal would die and if that animal dies then that animal that eats the other animal would die then the animal that eats the animal that gets their food from the sun would die and that is why nonliving and living things are important .

Ecosytems is biotic and abiotic flourishing together(working together).
In the ecosystem there are  
types of food chains and food webs that take place for example grass gets energy from the sun then a rodent eats the grass then a snake eats the rodent then a hawk eats the snake then when the hawk dies the decomposers(bacteria e.t.c) decomposes (breaks  
down) the nutrients from the dead animal back into the soil.

I know bacteria can be a bad thing and you might be thinking it should never exists but think again because without decomposers food will run out so it will go like this the plants will not have nutrients so the plants will  
die and the animals that eats plants will die and the 
animals that eat other animals will die and so on and so forth and it also could affect us.
Thats all

Ecosystems are very important. Producers, consumers and decomposers are living organisms that make up the ecosystem. The producers make plants and fruits. The consumers eat the producers to get energy. Consumers are animals. The decomposers break down the consumers into nutrients for the plants. Bacteria is a decomposer. And it keeps on going.

Nonliving things are important to us because they help us live. Because we need them to survive. Like air, water, and oxygen. Some nonliving things you don't even know you need. Water you need water to not dehydrate. If you don't have enough water you will probably pass out. Air you need air to breathe. You'll suffocate. Oxygen if you didn't have oxygen you wouldn't be here.

Living and nonliving things are important because we need to breath fresh air.Without trees there would be no fresh air.There also important because if they were not there we would turn into...dinner.Then if you don't want to dinner treat the earth how you treat yourself.If there were no sun the plants would not grow.If there were no plants the rabbits would die.If there were no animals there would be no people.This is the reason why living and nonliving things are important to the earth.

An ecosystem is important because it helps us live. One reasons were alive is the process of decomposers it is a ecosystem that brakes down dead animals and turns them into nutrients. Then if we talk about the food chain

we see that the mouse eats the corn and the owl eats the mouse. In the second line we that the rabbit eats the carrots and the fox eats the rabbit and the lion eats the fox.In the last line we see that the grasshopper eats grass,the frog eats the grasshopper the snake eats the frog and the eagle eats the snake. so what we see here is that if certain things are extinct certain animals well die. So the food chain has different parts and they all make a very important ecosystem.
