Time management should have been goal-oriented instead of artistically oriented. Spending too much time on the artistic aspect took way too much time.

I think that if we came with more batteries and a none locked sd card I think we would have gotten done way sooner and gotten better production, but since some of our technology continued to give us trouble we did not do it within 2 hours, even though we tried our hardest

I think it went really well overall. One major challenge was being an actor while also having to dash around to ensure the cameras were set up correctly. It’s tough to tell if everything is functioning as it should when you can’t keep an eye on the cameras. Additionally, figuring out how to use different cameras at the last minute added to the difficulty.

We totally did not make it in 2hrs, but I feel like our product was okay. The actual filming went okay, but I think we tried to get too much. We wanted to actually fit a story into it but I think we bit off more than we could chew.

We completely ran out of time! The amount of time that file uploading and editing took was way more than we realized it was going to be. Then, while editing, I realized that we should have taken a bit of time to plan so that editing was quick and easy.

Our main challenge was being in front of the camera rather than behind it. With the lighting technician also acting, it became tricky to check how everything appeared, especially with a small team. Managing a crew of three while operating four cameras, various lights, and audio, all while performing, proved to be quite difficult.

Overall, I think this went well. If I could do it again, I would spend a little more time on getting great shots instead of just good ones. I think the lighting was good, but I would have increased the exposures just a touch for every scene.

Editing and having it feel competent and/or coherent is extremely difficult, say even given the full 2 hours. 3 to 4 different camera angles, multiple audio tracks and outside music/sound effects. If you strip it down to the bare minimum in terms of ambition the quality dips heavily.

Working with different equipment and being creative in a rush

filming set up and lights done in hour and a half but only left 30 min for editing so a bit lacking on edit time.

I think the quality was good. With the different techniques we are learning, all of us are getting more creative and understanding on what it takes to make a good video.

I wanted to get beautiful shots and show a quality story which was difficult to do with the allotted time. I don't think I have a good sense of what I can actually accomplish in a certain time frame. With that being said, I think our group was great at working together and being flexible with our ideas.

The biggest obstacle for my end of the work was just the room we were in. It was a small space and hard to fit and move the boom mic (stand), camera (tripod) and light (softbox and light stand) around in a way that they were both effective, but also out of the shot.

I think we did very well in terms of quality, but we did not meet the 2-hour deadline. I imagine the deadline should be considered the most important thing, so we should have set up our production considering that, possibly sacrificing artistic quality for timely functionality.

My group did really well. We finished on time with almost no time to spare, and everyone did their "job" to ensure we also had time to edit. Editing went well because all of our shots were concise, and we only really had to worry about music and audio

I believe we did a good job given our resources and the time we had. Having the same equipment and a teleprompter for reading would have made things easier for everyone.

We are getting better at video quality and techniques. Having a clear view of what the the vision is for the videos can be a weakness.

Lots of time in beginning was spent fumbling around with equipment. I don't know if this could've been cut down though. Working in a new space and that tweaking helps the product.

The main thing we shouldn't have done was as many takes of the script. We read through the script multiple times with each angle which both killed our time and added more time for the editing portion. Definitely would not do that in the future. (Maybe would try and rehearse more as we figure out a shotlist and stuff . . .

On a scale of 1 to 10 I think our project sits at a 7 considering the circumstance. However, compared to the rest of the work I have made this semester, I would put it at a 4. I think my 30 minute production turned out better than this.

Our team excelled in collaboration, effectively dividing tasks and maintaining strong communication throughout the process. However, a challenge we faced was the lack of assigned roles, which limited our ability to fully utilize our equipment.

We did very well with working as a team. We tried to have different areas that we were each in charge of, but I think a team benefits greatly from having an on-location overall supervisor, to coordinate getting the project done with the most important things in mind... time-management and meeting a deadline.

Our group worked really well together and everybody fulfilled their roles, while also being engaged and assisting in other aspects of the production. I would say our primary weakness was in creating an artistic rendition of the script, we went a little basic and our process was very much "Lets get the job done."
