Hippie culture is known for its advocacy of peace, love, and environmental consciousness, focusing on rejecting materialism and embracing a simpler lifestyle. One major aspect is the emphasis on communal living and fostering a sense of unity and connection with others. This is more like me as I would rather fit in with what most people are doing and wearing, which reflects the hippie value of living in harmony with others. Additionally, my involvement in self-reflection practices shows my alignment with the hippie focus on inner peace, mindfulness, and personal well-being.

One aspect of hipster culture that doesn’t resonate with me is the strong emphasis on exclusivity, especially regarding fashion and trends. Hipsters often pride themselves on wearing obscure or "weird", sometimes impractical clothing or clothing styles, but I tend to prefer comfort and practicality over a unique style that feels forced. Another element that doesn’t fit my lifestyle is the pursuit of constant "newness" in music and art. While I appreciate creativity, I don’t feel the need to always seek out obscure, underground artists just to stay ahead of trends.
