Timothy is in seventh grade  when a new girl comes to his school. He starts getting nightmares in the day time according to page 67. He doesn't think anthing about it until he notices that the new girl is having nightmares too. Timothy is smart because he figures out ways to stop the nightmares. Timothy is also scared because most of his nightmares are about his brother that joined the army. His brother was near a grenade that exploded according to page 124. Tmothy is worried about his brother.

They then found out that jack changed from an old man to an evil man. On page 290, Jack was trying to sacrifice Abagail to the jawbone and accidentally sacrificed himself. Jack wants to get revenge on Abagails other because of what she did to Jacks father. Jack is mean because he is trying to sacrifice Abagail to the magical jawbone.
