The Dynamic Character in The Nightmarys is Jack. When Timothy and Abagail first meet Jack he acted like an old man according to page 207-214, but on page 216 Jack locked Timothy and Abagail in a room upstairs. They then found out that jack changed from an old man to an evil man. On page 290, Jack was trying to sacrifice Abagail to the jawbone and accidentally sacrificed himself. At that moment Jack changed for the final time from a human being, to a pile of bones.

Timothy finds that out of page 216. Jack wants to get revenge on Abagails other because of what she did to Jacks father. Jack is mean because he is trying to sacrifice Abagail to the magical jawbone.

The climax in the Nightmarys would have to be when the man in the overcoat came and stole the book Timothy took from him according to page 67. This would be the climax because this is the start of Timothy's problem. Timothy's main problem is that he keeps having these nightmares during the day and during the night. Another problem is that Jack needs a sacrifice and he plans on making Abagail his sacrifice.

On page 216 Timothy and Abagail figured out that Jack is the one that is controlling their fears. Later in the book on page 290, Jack got what he deserved and got sacrificed to the jawbone. That is why the theme for The Nightmarys could be treat others the way you want to be treated. Jack was controlling Timothy and Abagail's fears and he got sacrificed.
