There are a few examples of inappropriate uses of social media. Some people don't realize it but they take pictures or videos without thinking it. Healthcare employees also might want to share crazy stories about their day but that isn't very appropriate for where you work. Another thing is complaining and negative comments. You should never rant about someone online.

A few more examples of inappropriate examples are offensive statements. discussing private health information without consent is also not okay. Becoming best friends with your patient can make it unfair for other patients.

A goal can be defined as a desired result or purpose toward which one is working. They are commonly compared to maps because they help you find your way through the world. Goals allow you to know where your going and guide you through decisions.

If a person in high school has a long-term goal, such as, graduating college with a health care degree they might want to look at some short-term goals as well. Some goals they might have could be; research and learn about the wide variety of health care careers, job-shadow health care professionals that seem most interesting, join a student organization for health science education (HSE) students to network with other people who have similar interests, or attend job fairs or career planning days to obtain info about specific health care professionals.

Short-term goals can constantly change as one set is completed and a new set is established. After goals are established you should concentrate on ways to get that goal. Plan ways to get there and have people that can help you along your journey.
