Critical thinking is a skill that happening to be a challenge for me. My goal is to learn to how and to be good at it. I know what to do when needed but I would like to get to a place where I can quickly identify the problem wthout having to slow think about it.

I work in dialysis. so we have to really monitor pt bp because if pull too much fluid an cause pt bp to bottom out. and the patient becomes near death if you dont respond quickly. I was the only nurse on the floor this particular day during lunch time while the other nurses was eating. So I had to call the tech to assit. our protocol when we find someone unresponsive we immediately call for help check bp open saline. crash cart if needed. recheck vitals after 300ml bolus.
