Not the population of America. 90 percent of earth's population, gone just like that. Why, you may ask? World War 3. The war was worse than WW1 and WW2 put together. So to end the fighting, they launched a nuclear bomb the size of Pluto at Earth. They did this with no regard for the future.

One thing that people lose in a technologically advanced world is face to face contact and the will to do things. Some things that we gain in a world dominated by technology is an easier life, and the ability to digitally connect with people all around the world. I have been exploring the topical lens connection/disconnection and have learned that when people are connected to their technology they are less aware and less social. Also when connected to technology people can act fake and only post certain things on social media to make their life seem perfect. However when we are disconnected from our technology, we are more aware of current events and more social, we also communicate face to face which is healthier for us than communicating through technology. This is just one example of what people lose through technology.
