         <description><![CDATA[<div>The germinal period is essentially the time of conception to implantation of the fertilized egg. This is also the point when the sex of the fetus is already determined.<br><br></div><div>The embryonic phase is the next phase and consists of the early stages of development of the embryo. The sex organs of the fetus begin to form. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>The third stage is the Fetal Period, the embryo has not formed into a fetus. Once the fetus has reached 24 weeks the majority of the neurons in the brain have developed. The fetus is also responsive to sound and light. The fetus will continue to grow until birth.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

They will begin to touch their genitals more and once capable they will begin to ask more questions about each sex, for instance the difference in boys and girls. This is also where gender identity starts to take place. During this stage kids will become interested in each role the gender does. They will start to form their own self-identification based off their personalities to determine their gender identity.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
