         <description><![CDATA[<div>- The developed of computer programs that accepted a variety of responses and did not judge the students mistakes.<br>- The focus was shifted to exercises that encouraged students to create their own sentences.<br>- Teachers tried to used only L2 to created a more natural environment.<br>- Computer games were developed to teach language, in which students could interact with the computer and made their own choices.<br>- The PC was introduce in the late 1970's (APPLE). With functions such as word processors, spreadsheets, drawing software, and other very useful functions.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Educators began to use project-based learning, these assignments integrate a variety of skills.<br>- Technology advanced in multimedia and world wide web.<br>- CD ROMS made multimedia programs possible.<br>- Hyperlinks allows SS to navigate within a program, also gives them freedom to explore and learn.<br>- Used for military and academic research; however, computers were quite slow, and limited content was available.<br>- Videos were not very practical.<br>- Real time communication possible.<br>- Exchange audio files and text easily.<br>- Hypermedia used within an educational program or to navigate on the internet. With this, creating a more authentic learning environment and integrate skills was possible.<br>- Access to a wide variety of resources.<br>- Multimedia programs had their limitations, in which teachers had to rely on software companies.<br>- These companies don't always follow good pedagogical principles. <br><br></div>]]></description>
