If I, as a parent, have any questions, I can email her. She lets us know she's very caring. My son has really enjoyed being in her class the last two years. With his health issues, she has been very understanding and watches out for him and always has a compliment on how his behavior is. I love how she talks about her students like their her own  children. It will be hard just leave her behind this year as we move on to Middle School, but because of her my son is stronger and more social then he has ever been. She has helped him blossom into a fine young man in the classroom and at home. Each year I think how sad I will be that my kids won't have that teacher again, but then they get another outstanding teacher, and we are blessed that our circle of educator friends has grown. Each teacher has had a tremendous impact on them, helping them grow, see their potential, encouraging, celebrating, and making their days of learning fun. So thankful to have our kids in Platteville schools. Jenny King, Karina Shaw, Kim Zielinski, Kris Brecke, Sam Charles and Katrina Hostetler. They have all been loving and caring but also great teachers. They are more than teachers to us. They are friends. They are family. Now that we have moved to Ohio, we miss all of them so much!  Platteville truly does have the best teachers and we were lucky enough to know some of them.
