Puerto Rico has many traditions one of them being the three kings day. The three kings day is a kind of like Christmas but instead of a tree and "Santa" its "three wise men(the three kings)"and a box of hay under the bed where the gifts go. Some traditional clothes people wear in Puerto Rico are called a jibaro and a bomba and they usually have bright vibrant colors.

There are many things to do in Puerto Rico like going to the beach(300+ beaches), going kayaking in bioluminescent bays, taking a hike, seeing water falls in a rain forest, and the #1 tourist attraction in Puerto Rico El Morro that has a lot of history and an amazing view of the Atlantic ocean. If I went to Puerto Rico I would go to the beach for jet skiing and banana boats. Then I would go to the red mango cafe to try red mango.

One food home to Puerto Rico is called Mofongo. Mofongo is made from deep-fried green plantain pieces mashed with garlic, pork, butter, or oil. Mofongo is served as a side dish or main. Another food home to Puerto Rico is pasteles. Pasteles are made with green banana masa stuffed with pork. Sometimes yuca or other vegetables are added and the masa can be made just from yuca. Pasteles can also be stuffed with chicken and bacalao.

My favorite parts of Puerto Rico is the music, sports, and food. I like the music because I grew up with my mom playing it in the house and car. I like the sports because they are my favorites out of all sports(except golf, surfing ,and fishing). I also like the clean water that is because I was born in Florida and went to the Beach a lot its good for swiming and vacation ingeneral. The Peurto Rican food is in my opinion amazing since my grandma makes it when I go to her house. Overall I Like every part of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rican culture and I hope to visit it one day.
