Students don't just memorize—they figure things out by sharing perspectives. Dialogic teaching could be implemented by collaborative problem-solving, strategies such as open-en ended questions, and scaffolding.

I had been teaching grade 10 pupils advanced "polynomials operations" the week before, and in order to complement the dialogic teaching approach, I used scaffolding, which is offering support and direction to help students build on the information and abilities they already possess. In term one, they were given polynomials, but they had two variables. For this lesson, the operations would be performed on polynomials with one variable.
To accomplish dialogic teaching, I use the peer teaching technique, in which students mentor one another, encouraging cooperation and solidifying their grasp of the subject matter.
