Pythagoras was a Philosopher, a Mathematician and the founder of the Pythagoreanism. He was born on the island of Samos. He was also called Pythagoras of Samos. Pythagoras lived in the 500 BC and was one of the first Greek mathematical thinkers. He spent most of his life in the Greek colonies in Sicily and southern Italy. He had a group of followers who followed him around and taught other people what he had taught them. The Pythagoreans were known for their pure lives. They wore their hair long, and wore only simple clothing, and went barefoot. Both men and women were Pythagoreans. He believed that eating Animal was cannibalism because they might contain the trans-migrated souls of human ancestors. He also believed that his soul was reincarnated. Pythagoras himself said that he had once before lived as a warrior in the Troja-war. He also didn't eat beans!

Pythagoras changed the way of Music by inventing the musical scale. He also changed Mathematics by creating the Pythagoras theorem which is a right-angled triangle the area of the square on the hypotenuse, the side opposite the right angle, is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares of the other two sides. A plus B equals C. He was also a successful Philosopher.

Pythagoras changed the Musical industry by creating the Musical Scale. Pythagoras's work wasn't used and understood until after he passed away. His Mathematical theorem wasn't used until after his death and its been used since then and is always going to be a great movement in Mathematical achievement!
