Alek finally reaches the Swiss Alps and seeks refuge in a secluded castle amidst the snow. Just as he thinks he is safe from the Germans, Alek looks up to the sky and is stunned by what he sees. At the same time as Alek took refuge, the Leviathan is attacked by German airplanes above the Swiss Alps. The Leviathan emerges victorious, but is severely damaged. The airship slowly floats down into the Swiss Alps, as Alek watches from his castle. Alek chooses to help the crew of the Leviathan.
