Not only did the assignment involve research, but it also calls on students to flex their skills in a different type of style- one that is very different from that of say a novel. What really intrigues me about this course, though, is the multimodal aspects. By exposing students to different types of rhetoric will prepare them for the future. This is also a CE class which seems to play a big part in how the grading and structure of the course is laid out. I appreciate how you've clearly explained how the course will function since this might be students' first exposure to a college course. One thing I would suggest, in the syllabus I was a little confused if it was a fully online class or not. Sounds like it's going to be an in-person class so it might be helpful to focus a part of the syllabus on how you plan to incorporate technology into the class and why that's important so students know the why to the what.
