    I love being all of the above as I love to explore new realms of myself and others, and see if we can have an adventure discovering the best versions of ourselves. And the best way, I find, to discover this, is to always be in a constant state of learning. 

    My past interests were travelling, reading books at quiet cafes and bullet journalling. But since Covid happened, my current obsession is mountain biking (my forever obsession being the world of essential oils (well, since 7 years ago)).

    I love learning mountain biking as I drew so many parallels to the real world. The falls experienced, the achievements unlocked, the trails journeyed, all of these gave inspiration to discover parts of myself that I can draw strength from. 

    This photo was screen captured from a video taken during my latest ride. We take videos to review our moves and skills, and see where we can course correct to improve in the future. I think doing self-reflection such as this is important to learn, unlearn and relearn about myself. I used work in Project Management for 16 years since year 2000. It was something that I love to do. In 2012, I started to ask myself what else I could do with the skills and knowledge that I have to help people. This is when I started to dive into L&D and started my coaching journey. 

    Fast forward to this year, I am now an entrepreneur and a business owner; incorporating all that I have picked up in the last 10 years; NLP, PLF, aromatherapy, somatic healing and brain psychology. Personally, I'm married and a mom of 3 minions - the purple ones - (plus one in March inshaAllah), a homemaker and a beginner edible gardener. 

    I am not one that stay still. I love learning and creating. I do binge on selected TV shows once a while and find instant gratification through Project Makeover, a match-3 iPad game. I love reading and have anti-libraries throughout the house.  Looking forward to this weekend, and hopefully not being interrupted by the minions.

    I am deeply passionate about what I do as it has made me become a better thinker, learner, and player, and it still does. I constantly ask myself how to help people better themselves and create a remarkable difference in their life and the life of others. Among the type of learning engagement that I do, my favourite is coaching. I am blessed with the patience to listen and care enough to allow a safe space for people to get closer with themselves. It never failed to energise and helps me sleep better at night.
     
    In the last few years, I managed to turn myself from a book collector to a book reader. People asked why I keep so many books that I don’t read on the racks. I told them I needed a nice wallpaper. 
     
    Two reasons for choosing this photo; first, it is the recent one, and second, it reflects my personality as a person with few words but uses that big smile of mine to connect (hopefully, it works). Look forward to connecting, learning from everybody, and planning the year with style.

    I accidentally stumbled into the media and entertainment industry in 2002, in search of something more in life. 

    I was a fresh grad working in a multinational accounting firm then, there was an audition for a TV program at a new mall in KL and my friends encouraged me to try. And i did ! 

    Since then, I have worked for various TV programs, writing for dramas, produced, hosted, acted and worked in radio. 

    With almost 15 years in the media landscape, i decided to start my own company - Dbilique Media a few years ago and started my journey as an entrepreneur.  I create branded content, influencer marketing, events and training for our clients. 

    I have been involved in L&D since 2015, and my focus areas are media literacy, content creation, digital personal branding and presentation skills. I recently completed my ICF training and hoping to include the methodology of a coach into my modules. 

    I’m also a voice talent servicing commercials, audio guides, learning apps, dubbing and more! 

    I love the outdoors and enjoy being anywhere near the beach or sungai. I find solace during hikes or even meditating in nature. 

    I love to read books specifically on Money Mindset ( Ken Honda) , Spiritual Awakening 
    (Deepak Chopra),  self development ( Dale Carnegie, Napolean Hill and etc)  

    My family and my children are the reason i wake up in the morning, I look forward to full filling my purpose and being a better version of me everyday.

    This photo was taken around this time last year and it feels like a new beginning much like this month is a new beginning again.  And I am ready to get some structure and organise.

    After retiring from the world of TV and media, I retrained and became a licensed and registered counsellor. I have a private practice with a global clientele.  I see adult clients who have relationship issues as well as issue of depression and anxiety, and neuro-diversity and addiction and recently grief and loss.

    I am into ageing healthy, personal growth, mental health, finance, staying present in relationships and growing my edible garden. Currently, I have 2 chilli plants, two limau nipis plants, serai, pandan, coriander plant, and a sweet potato plant. Those are the ones which I did not kill off! Hahaha! 

    What I hope to do more of this year is read more books, loose the weight, complete the remaining things I need to organise and maintain habits. And if all is ok with the world travel again.

When neOOne was established in 2010, it used to have only me and my then boyfriend - partner Juara, to build the company, then we have Naadiah joining us in 2014. Back then, I have less than 6 associates ( or I would rather call them friends) that helps me in certain projects. In 2022, I have 5 full time staffs on my payroll, and 25 likeminded associates with me. We are expecting another 5 more associates will be joining us towards the end of the year. 

    What I am excited about Plan The Year and always looking forward to facilitate Plan The Year, each year, simply because PTY is one of neOOne's best practice. We run PTY every year with our team. We did it every year without fail. This is to ensure we set our yearly goals and strategise on how to achieve it. Most importantly, we will always make sure to have clarity on the 'Big Why' behind the each goals that we set. 

    I love to attend training and learn from Great Masters. The more I learn, the more I discover that more things that I don't know.  Learning and Growth is important to me. It excites me. I love subjects related technology, quantum physics, mindfulness, science, fine arts, films, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Actually they are no longer boys - but they will forever be my little ones. The eldest is 24 years, second 22 years old and the youngest is 17 years old. 

    Life has certainly taken me down a far different path that I had envisaged when I was younger. I studied in France (oui, je parle francais), came back to Malaysia to work in British Petroleum. Moved on to the Standard Chartered and Maybank. Currently, I am an HR practitioner, working as Senior HR Business Partner in Experian, a global IT company. 

    I have always been drawn to the L&D part in HR and been facilitating learning sessions, either virtual or physical. I am a fan of Juara and Yasmin for years, and I have learnt so much from both of them!

    To add spice (and salt, sugar etc) to my life, I am now focusing on Neuroscience and learning how I can use this to coach others, as they go through their life events. I am also an aspiring (and perspiring...!) Tezhip artist.
