Life is a balance. Time-management and goal setting are crucial in order to thrive in life. Being able to properly prioritize and following through is a necessity on the road toward success. if one were to reverse the order and prioritize the smaller events, then those smaller events would interfere with the more important assets. This could possibly lead to one’s inability to complete their life goals if they are so distracted with irrelevant issues. At the end of the day, the achievements which one achieves in their life is a large part of their legacy in which they leave behind.

Instead of completing each steps at a time and moving up the ladder, some automatically turn to achieve the large goal without building a stable platform/basis. Injecting the discipline of asking the “rock, pebbles, sand” question early and often can help teams stay focused on the BIG opportunities. The smaller steps contribute equally to the overall project.
