Later in 1989, the LTTE moved to the East since the military had taken over most of the Northern areas and was ready to kill the opponents. More than 2500 Tamils ​​were killed in violence when the country fell into chaos and the Tamil Tigers were stopped with new recruits. Weapons, food and money began to flow into LTTE's warehouse from sympathetic tamils ​​in Southern India. Several times, the Norwegian authorities came to Sri Lanka, got to talk about ceasefire and agree on disagreements. At the same time, the government stated that LTTE could not have its own area.
