We cannot count on any local or state government entity to think of all the ways we need protection or all the ways our students may need academic or emotional support. Using chromebooks from or similar to wcpss is also helpful since I think many students did not want to ask and are trying to make do on less than optimal devices and internet. Many parents are essential/frontline workers, so they just need help with helping children access learning and taking care of them. School: Need nurses, and student support services, PPE, There needs to be a way to have students move at some point during the day in small groups in a safe way. Movement is a need for small children. We need enough staff to be able to supervise small groups and stay consistently with those same small groups to stop the spread of illness beyond a small group. If one teacher works with several groups, all of the people in all of the groups would be at risk of being exposed if one student exposed that teacher to illness.
