         <description><![CDATA[<div>To see which brand of fertilizer would grow tallest. I would first make sure that each brand of fertilizer was measured the same and place each one in it's own individual pot, then I would put the same amount of tomato seeds in each pot of fertilizer I would then water each individual pot with the same amount of water then measure them to see which one is the tallest. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The independent variable are the fertilizers. The fertilizers are the ones that can change and affect other things, which would be the growth. We are directly seeing how different types of fertilizer affect the growth of the plants, so the growth of the plant is the dependent variable. Some possible constants that can come from this experiment are the weather- they can grow these different tomato plants in their own fertilizers in the same weather (degrees, sunny or cloudy, how humid it is, etc.). An obvious constant is the plant itself! The only plants being tested are tomato plants, so they are a constant within this experiment.</div>]]></description>

Then have them all in the same spot for sunlight and make sure that the fertilizer is equal in each pot. I would also want to give the correct watering each time.
