  • This unit has enhanced the attitude of Caring and develops communication and interpersonal skills.

  • They created the comic story with a voice recording based on their task “leisure time activities” on the online book creator.  
  • They wrote the letter to their friends about their free-time activities. Through these activities, they have exhibited their communication skills. 
  • They attempted the online assessment on reading comprehension and "imperfait" grammar to understand this unit better.

  • As HRT: Students were appreciated for conducting Monday morning assembly, paying their tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary. Collaboration and the team effort was evident that made the assembly entertaining and informative.

As a part of good IB practice, students were given an opportunity to discuss and prepare a unit planner for mechanics unit after knowing broad topics in this unit.

The teacher facilitated and encouraged students to brainstorm and generate their own statement of inquiry, inquiry questions thus giving them free space to think and decide what  they want to learn through their own inquiry questions.

This practice helped students to develop their collaboration, critical thinking skills and gave them feeling that as learners they are at the center and plan their own inquiry rather than teacher directed inquiry.
