This morning, Rithika, our Worship Warrior, led Class Worship. She focused on this week's Picture News question: Is it ever too late to try anything new? We listened to the stories of marathon runners such as Eileen Hieron, who began running in her 70s and went on to complete marathons! Mila said she felt galvanised by their stories and found them very inspiring. Summer said it was inspiring because she was determined and showed great perseverance. Lyla said it almost made her feel ashamed because, despite being much younger, she knew she would find running a marathon more challenging. We discussed how this linked to the British Value individual liberty and age as the protected characteristic. We ended worship with a song of worship.
