About his work on “Schindler’s List”, Steven received no money and the salary and profits of the movie were donated to The Shoah Foundation that raises awareness with survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides.

He became well known by directing a few films and sci-fi episodes, yet the project that launched him into the spotlight was Jaws, a thriller film released in 1975 based on Peter Benchley’s book of the same name.

During the decades of 80s and 90s, he was based in Las Vegas to make most part of his shows but also present hisself in many other places of the world until his death in May 14, 1998.
