   June 27th, 1950-Truman orders air and naval support for South Korea and calls for UN intervention. The significance of this is it shows that South Korea has backup and support from the US.

   September 15th, 1950-US troops invade at Inchon.

   October 19th, 1950-Pyongyang falls to UN forces.

   March 1953-armistice formally re-established the division of Korea. The significance of this is it shows that the war is over and they agreed and can have peace.
