Believing in a higher purpose or having spiritual conviction can lower stress, boost immunity, and foster mental well-being. Chapter 9 highlights that faith provides comfort in adversity, improving overall health outcomes.

https://vimeo.com/690870048

Carla's Story of Change

Carla was one of those people who complained about everything. She would wake up saying things like, "Today is definitely going to be bad for me" or "I'm never lucky." She always saw the negative first.

One day, a friend gave her a small notebook and told her, "Write down three good things that happen to you every night, even if they're small." Carla didn't want to, but in the end, she did it just to try.

The first night, she wrote: "It didn't rain today," "My coffee was delicious," and "A friend said hi." It was difficult at first, but little by little, she began to see that not everything was so bad.

After a few weeks, she no longer talked only about the bad things of the day. She started saying things like, "Today was difficult, but I learned something," or "Not everything went wrong." Her way of speaking, listening, and even thinking began to change.

After a few months, Carla already seemed happier. She slept better, had more energy, and people noticed.

It all started by changing what I thought, what I said, and what I allowed myself to hear.
