The writer makes the appearance of the cat so vivid by using Imagery."ancient Egyptian god"Shows that the cat has a aura of power and princeliness. In the text the writer also says that the cat has bright green eyes. Usually, green eyes symbolise evil in folklore, whuch is present in the cat. This thus makes the description of the cat vivid as deeoer kayers can be infered from the characteristucs abd appearanve of it

The appearance of the cat is made vivid through the use of imagery to describe the superiority, intelligence and the personality of the cat. The “bright green eyes” peers into the poet’s mind. This shows the intelligence of the cat along with the cat “assesing my intent”. The cat was cautious of the poet as the poet is a stranger to it. The comparison of “an ancient egyptian God” showed the superiority of the cat as it symbolises high social status. “The entire night belonged to you alone” showed the powerful presence of the cat and how the cat was powerful. The calm personality of the cat were shown when the cat was unmoved even with the scene of the leaves falling

The writer makes the appearance of the cat vivid by showing the superiority of cat. The cat is compared to as an Egyptian God probably because he was depicted as of high royalty, superiority and showing that he has power. The cat is als shown as having a high status is when he was “contemplating the dark beauty of the night, as if the entire night belonged to you alone.” This shows that he is making the area as if it is of his own controlled area.
