DELTARUNE theory

Firstly, I believe that "human, I remember you're Genoslides" will likely be referenced in Chapter 5, with a line from Sans along the likes of "Hey, Kris right? I remember you." Or something like that. He could have become more aquainted with Kris and their family after...his um visit with Toriel, and more open to befriending them. This could also be an opportunity to sneak in a meme, very tricky Toby.
My next theory is a bit complicated.
So, we know that Darkners are the representations of light world objects.
Most Darkners have feelings, which are related to experiences in the light world.
This means that in DELTARUNE, objects are sentient.
As well as this, you never see objects that are thrown away.
Some things, such as tissues, are thrown away while still in a state that, in purposes of DELTARUNE, would still mean their dark world counterpart is alive, even if only barely.
Now, we look at things such as plastic, which decay over millions of years, if I remember correctly. And they're in things such as trash bags.
So that's an eternity of blackness, never dying, but also not really living.
The KNIGHT seems heavily aquainted with the dark world, and so they may be seeking to cause the Roaring to stop this from happening again.
They couldn't simply stop people throwing things away, because that's basically required for civilisation. So the only solution would be to destroy civilisation.
All of these deaths and suffering would occur, but those would be finite, as what little life left living after the Roaring would fade away soon afterwards.
However, if the Roaring is not caused, those unused Darkners would have eternal suffering of the highest degree.
Suffering that a mortal could not comprehend, and so nobody could make fair judgement on what the correct choice is.
The KNIGHT seems to think the Roaring is the correct choice, and is willing to do anything to break this cycle.
Kris seems to agree with them.
From what we know about Kris, a person who played with plugs as a kid and hoarded remote controllers, they likely had some object they cared about which was thrown away, leading them to ally with the KNIGHT.
But that's just a theory-

Egg cope theory (by Jackblack)

I believe that when kris and noelle were very young, (5-6) dess was playing with them in the forest, when they got lost. Asgore was supposed to be watching them, and they saw a light, this led to a thing. (this could be gaster, friend, or something we don't know.) Dess was grabbed, and Asgore saw them near the bunker (kris and noelle were chasing after dess who was being taken) and Asgore tried to save dess from being brought into the bunker. In the bunker, was something horrific. Asgore never saw it, and noelle has mentally blocked it fully, but kris only has partial blockage, and i think they block it out with a tree. The egg man is just a random figment of imagination, and because kris already had violent tendancies to begin with, they went to art therepy. The reason why it gives eggs is because eggs symbolize life, and they are a coping mechanism for kris. Gaster sees this as an issue, is because the only thing stopping kris from helping susie get in there is the fear of what they might face, and the eggs could help them overcome the fear. (for those who dont know, the Ps versions of deltarune have achievements for completing chapters "without issue." you get this no matter what, unless you get the egg in that chapter)

But hey...

...

...

...

...

That's just a theory...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

AN EGG THEORY! see you next time.

Eram is the anti-Ralsei

Okay, so, first, I need to say something about Ralsei.

Ralsei is a shapeshifter.

His form when he wears his hat looks very different from his form after he takes it off. He's less similar to Asriel, his body genuinely looks like it's pitch black, his outfit is a different length and has no sleeves, and such. He seems less defined. Additionally, in Tenna's minigames, each of the characters have a power. These powers all relate to them and make sense. Lancer can dig, in the unused sections Elnina could cry water, and Susie and Kris could gain strength and a sword respectively. What is Ralsei's innate ability in these boards? To transform, into a block and a surfboard, completely different shapes. I believe Ralsei makes himself look like Asriel and even gives himself a similar name to Asriel in order to appeal to Kris, make them comfortable. This also helps explain his issues with identity, it's because he has no identity of his own, he made an identity based off of somebody else. I think his true form is pure darkness. This is why he can move between dark worlds, and why he disappears when knocked unconscious in battle.

Not only does Ralsei have shapeshifting, but I believe he has other powers he doesn't tell people about. When escaping from the titan, a serious situation where nobody is looking his way, Ralsei flies through the air using magic. You can see this in the second image I included. Also, in the battle with Balthizard, one of his acts involves him using fire magic. Lastly, with a well-placed sneak attack, Ralsei is able to shatter a living statue into pieces with nothing but his scarf.

Reasons for him hiding his true nature could be because he doesn't want the others to know that he chose to look a certain way to change how they feel about him, or because of his origins. I theorize that his origins could be that he was once a titanspawn, but this is something I'm less confident on. My evidence for that is his black outlined body in Chapter 1, and the fact that purifying titanspawn is treated as something other than killing them. This may mean Ralsei will eventually need to be banished. I suppose you could also say Eram's association with titan eyes is evidence for the titanspawn theory, because...

I believe Eram is the same kind of creature as Ralsei, and is like an opposite to him. My reasons for this are, first of all, that I think Eram can move freely in the darkness. I think that, based on Toby saying "cool mantle bro" to King's mantle in the livestream and the appearance of King's mantle matching Eram's appearance when wearing it, that King was using the shadow mantle in Chapter 1, perhaps given to him by Jevil or another ally of the knight to make him stronger, and that this means Eram must have taken the mantle after King let it fly away. Additionally, Eram seems to be able to exist inside the video game and do real damage to Kris, which requires some level of being able to cross between layers of darkness. Additionally, Eram, like Ralsei, seems like a dark creature, with powers of fire magic and flight. Another thing is that Eram seems to know Kris's feelings, just like Ralsei would have to in order to take a form that would comfort them, and just like would make sense for a darkness creature, since the darkness is shaped by the minds of lightners. However, I do not believe Eram bases their appearance off of Asriel, or off of Dess, or whatever other ideas people have. I believe Eram's true appearance will be meant to resemble Kris. I think Kris has a lot of feelings of guilt and suffers from violent urges, and that, rather than comforting Kris like Ralsei, Eram tries to make those feelings worse. This explains Eram's dialogue. I think that, when we finally encounter Eram outside of the video game, they will be a dark version of Kris, with horns to resemble Kris's horn headband, and they will be a cruel maniac, working with the dark forces that live in the shelter.
