Banner in the sky is one of the best adventure books I have ever read. It is about a scrawny boy that everybody makes fun of named Rudy. He has a dream to one day climb the un-climbed Citadel. His dad died from trying to climb it and Rudy wants to fulfill his father's dream. His mother does not approve though because she does not want Rudy to die like her husband did. Banner in the Sky is overflowing with adventure and suspense.

Every good book has a plot twist and  this one has one. If you are a Harry Potter fan then you have seen this twist coming from the very first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This is one of the greater fantasy books that I know of. If you want to know your magic then read this book.
