Strong Teams, Strong Schools (Sparks, 2013): *Trying to identify weaknesses to bring back to the team. Make a point of reflection for the team; be more deliberate in creating structures.
*Results reflect trust, vulnerability, conflict, and feelings need to be explored (new leader on team). Interesting that these ideas not expressed face-to-face.
*Having direction made it easier to function as a team

1. Leadership team - Need to question consistently positive responses due to group think/psychological safety.
2. Cross-functional leadership - Team could be better defined. Team reported that they are developing in most places. Conversations are limited to small, specific groups of people - need a new structure.
3. ILT and corresponding grade level/content teams - What is my role as the leader in an authentic way when my goal is distributed leadership? Do I pull back on sharing power in times of stress? How to support leaders of teams when I'm not there?

Greg created the Lencioni survey into a Google Form and shared it with his leadership team. Issue of accountability- light on that in terms of recording achievements. Consensus on trust.Katie gave the Leadership Practices Inventory; gave to team and her response to COVID. Reviewing trends now. Ana used LPI and focused on support to school leaders to look at what she needs to build on and areas of strength and growth. Waiting for responses. Pauline used Curtis and City and added 2 questions to get COVID response- gave it to leadership team (APs and operations team). More certainty about role and function from APs than others- need more alignment/ guidance among others on the team. Tamatha used the Lencioni chart and noticed that trust and clarity are high and need to look at data and accountability are a need.
