Peter Rahal founded the first RXBAR in 2013 inside of his parents basement. He had some help from his long time friend Jared Smith, who is now known as the Co-owner of the company.

Peter Rahal was very serious about his business, and wanted to become successful. He was so serious that in 2013 after the business had taken off he decided to fire his own mom from the business just a few months into starting it up.

Peter Rahal and the co founder decided that they were going to sell the RXBAR brand and get some cash back. They sold it to Kellog for $600,000,000. They wanted to take advantage of their creation and become rich.

In 2008, fresh out of high school, Peter Rahal was diagnosed with dyslexia. He thought that this was the worst thing ever at the time. However this ended up being a blessing in disguise. This is because his dyslexia allowed him to see things differently than others and that ended up allowing him to figure out the RXBAR.

Another example of capital is the machines that they used to make the bars really fast. They used a blender to make the bars as fast as possible.

Peter Rahal worked out at his local gym, and noticed that they were selling t-shirts and water bottles. He was confused as to why they were not selling protein bars. He also meantions that at a local grocery store they were very hard to sell but not at the local gym. So he went and pitched his idea to some friends and they got to work.
