We plunged into this school year months ago without knowing how we're gonna actually fare in the DLP set up. We didn't have an idea what challenges we were going to face. Behold, the year has passed, and we're now here, ready to exit the door of this particular episode of our career. I'm thankful for all the events, people, and the hand of God that was on all of us.

The Lord gave and He has taken away; may His name be praised!

I want to share this with you from YouVersion
God’s Compassion = Our Endurance “The Lord is full of tenderness and mercy” (James 5:7-11)

We have all experienced hardships in 2020, a year that tested our resolve, our grace for others, our patience, and our commitment to love. Our endurance has been tested, but endurance is just what we are called to have. We are called to be patient when our patience is at its lowest. We are called to be kind when every day brings irritation. Endure suffering, be patient, don’t grumble – okay, a little help here! James concludes this exhortation with the promise of compassion, “the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy”. God’s compassion strengthens our hearts just when we feel that we have had enough already. It tunes our heart to the frequency of God’s love so that God’s tenderness and mercy toward us begin to flow outward toward others in patience and graciousness. Our capacity to receive God’s compassion is only expanded by our effort to show it to others. We can learn much from our refugee brothers and sisters about endurance and compassion.

Prayer: Lord, you are full of tenderness and mercy. In our struggles, strengthen our heart with your comfort and love. Help us to pass on your kindness to others as well. In your name, Amen

Each school year it seems to me gets harder and harder and there are times really when I ask God if He knows what He's doing.

So each school year I buckle up for a grand lesson on faith and humility because everytime I feel like there's no way, no way out, no resolution, the enemy gets this round, God comes into the situation carrying with him His Divine Providence and peace which I truly cannot fathom and it leaves me pummelled into dutiful and awestruck silence.

Truly this SY is another stone just like the 12 others in the River Jordan commemorating God's faithfulness, His power and His sovereignty. "To serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.'" Joshua 4:6-7
