So he sends a storm to Odysseus, and Odysseus is knocked off the raft, and begins to drown. But then he was able to reach his raft and save himself. Then a goddess Ino came before him and provided him with a scarf that she said would protect him from harm. He took off all his clothes in order to swim faster, and started swimming to land. He swam for 2 days and nights before reaching land. (Readers note: what was the reason for including the Ino scarf part? I don't think that was necessary to include in the story.)

So they end up sacrificing sheep blood. As soon as this happened spirits started to gather around the sacrifice. But Odysseus protected the blood, because he needed to save it for Tiresias. Many spirits gathered around the blood. Eventually Odysseus's mother came to the sacrifice. But he still protected the sacrifice. Then Tiresias came to the sacrifice, and then drank the blood. He tells Odysseus that he mist sail towards Thrinacia and he mist restrain from eating the cows there, then he can go home. But if he eats the cows disaster will come. Then Odysseus asks if the spirit of his mother can recognize him. Tiresias says that his mother must drink the sacrifice to be able to see him. So he lets his mother drink the blood. Then he asks his mom about his wife and son. She knows nothing. Then she tells Odysseus that she died because she missed him so much. Then Agamemnon comes as a spirit. Odysseus asks him how he died. He tells him how he died. Then he leaves the spirits.
Readers Notes:
I think that it was really unnecessary for the amount of spirits to come.
