I am a current sophomore at the U of A. This is my first year at the U of A, I transferred here after two years at a community college in Fort Worth, Texas. I am in the 5-year program here and will graduate in 2027 with my master's in childhood education. I am apart of KDP which is the education honors fraternity. i have enjoyed this first year at the U of A and cant wait for the next three to come.

My Dogs

I have two dogs of my own. Arlo is my one-year-old male mini Aussie. Bama is my seven-year-old Black Lab. I love both of my dogs so much and they may come up as examples in my lessons and there will be lots of stories about them during class. Bama currently lives with my parents in Fort Worth, while Arlo lives in Fayetteville with me. I have had both of my dogs since they were 10 weeks old and they are my absolute world.

I enjoy teaching, leading, and mentoring those younger than me. I have been working with kids since I was in seventh grade. I have had the honor of being a leader at multiple events in my church in the last eight years and am excited for future events. I have also tutored and nannied for the last three years.

My Hopes for the Future

I am hoping to move back to Texas after I graduate. I am hoping to teach younger elementary students, like kindergarten, first or second grade. I have always loved younger kids and knew I wanted to work with them in the future. Being able to shape young minds is a passion of mine.
