Morning registered myself to the human resource and training department of Selangor State Health Department at 7.45am.

Approached by Encik.Samat the head of training and development department. He has given a short speech on what are the does and dont’t in their departments and how we should do our programmes.

I was brought to my department which is procurement  and assets department. I was been introduced to the head of department Miss Sazatul Faeza . She was very polite and gave me a great opening on what I studied for and the details on how does the department works here at JKNS .

Later on, I was introduced to the staff at the departments, where there are 10 of them who were working under the department and they have their own hierarchy which is according to their positions.

After a while, I was given a office desk at the department which is really convenient.Then one of the staff Mr.Syed asked me to key in the documents into their file in soft copy into their system.There are four main segments I have learned here where this department will take a look,which is one of the major divisions of Health segments.Pharmaceutical, Doctoral, Hospitals and Management.

The main segments which this department is relay to is under management which is procurement units and assets. Here the work is very pack because they are in charge of whole Selangor state managing sites.

They are very polite to me where they always guide me in every single work including those minor work like photo copying.

I came up to the 10th floor and registered my attendance there at their admin. Then I went up to my departments floor which is at the 18th floor at the top of the building .


For today,I have key in few documents under the Bahagian Kesihatan Awam. In this segments they will update everything related with the departments role or any procurement.After a while, I do key in the details regarding “LAPORAN INTEGRITY” according to those daerah which this department has received today in the early morning.

I also got my access card today from the Information Technology Department.I created a new folder and updated the contract documents according to the dates from January 2020 till upcoming dates.
I also prepared those documents that already been cancelled into the system. I do arranged up those files.

Came for work at morning 7.50am and registered myself at 10th floor.

Today I start my day by updating the Laporan Integrity from few daerah into the Procurement unit and assets system.Then, I start my day by going through a few documents I updated yesterday to fresh up back my mind about the details and segments they have inside the system.

I was asked to key in documentary in the the each jabatan as the application forms to update those information according to the date and time.

After my lunch time, I was doing more on documents relating those documents about Medical department.After a while, they also thought me how to work under documents relating with finance department whereby once those documents are being checked and verified by procurement department it will be submitted to the financial department to proceed with documentation.

I was been introduced to the financial department colleagues so that it will be easy for me to summit those documentations towards them on time. This is very important part because we have to be in order and if it is missed out then it will get into big troublesome. All the loan and tender documentations will be send from other departments to procurement unit then they will proceed into financial departments to take action on.

Concluding today’s activities here, where as usual I have done my best to the department and learnt more newer things about the documentations that are related with government agreements.

As usual checked in office at morning 7.50 am at 10th floor then came up to 18th floor.Morning went through the day before documents file just to recheck it what I have done previously to set back my mind.

I was given a book to go through about the process of how they key in those documents in system. I went through the book and it was full of knowledge and guideline which was clearly elaborated so that I could understand deeply about the system they are organising here through online websites.

After a while,I was thought on how to file up those meetings minutes into their file to make sure all the documents are in order.There were few fundamentals which should be followed up which we have to obey .I have filed up 2 files fully completed.

Morning to the Fridays, I checked in office as usual at 7.20am at10th floor and went to my department at 18th floor .

Turned on my desktop and set up my things and prepared for my work for the day.I started my day by filing up another two files on my table from one the units senior staff.I have learned a lot on how to prepare and file up documents according to their categories.

Other than that, I also key in those suppliers details into the record file where they have purchasing happening between them to be overlooked documents.

I also recorded those documents under Bahagian Kesihatan Awam ( BKA) according to their reported documents.I also learn how to answer the phone calls and how to attend it.Officers also thought me this things because this department will always receive calls from lots of places such as Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah,Hospitals,Pejabat Kesihatan Pergigian Daerah, Tender dealer, and of course from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.

It is a great learning point where I could manage the ethics they follow towards their rules in this department because they are fully related with loan asset and tender dealings which will need many enquires to be followed up on point . 

I also filled up few filing documentary into the system as usual recordings to update it according to their code.

I do updated the tender file according to the updates.Lastly, I updated the contract record into the system according to their file before sending it to the financial department.Then checked out office at 5.25pm.

Morning I started my day at 7.20am, by checking in my attendance at 10 th floor of the Selangor State Health Department.Usually Monday will be quite hectic because all the sectors will check out their updated through emails,phone calls and via direct dealings .

I do key in all the details about the documents that has been received to the department that have to be send off to the government. All the documents are recorded according to their categories.I also did some paper filling work from different segments.

Ended my day at 5.20pm, and left my office as usual checked out at the 10th floor and that’s all for today.

Started my day at office 7.50am. Today my day was quite good because I learned more on how to differentiate the difference between files under each units. as usual I do recorded those documents into the system to be updated so that they know when do they submitted to finance departments equally .

I also learn how to do the paper filing into the system today.One of the officer taught me on how to update files according to the hospitals and Health offices in Selangor state.

After a while, I updated documents into the files in the store.Here I could understand that there are many elements to look after whereby each official documents should be updated clearly according to their categories.

It was a good day where I get to expose more towards the documentations. That’s all for today record and I checked out office at 5.20pm.

Morning checked in office at 7.40am and started my day.The start of the day was good whereby I was brought into the meeting session regarding the tender with Pengarah Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor to help out my officer with their slide presentation.

After the meeting ends, I helped out the executive officer to set up room for the tender meeting at third floor.According to their information, every tender will have a meeting session to be discussed. Then I recorded as usual few of the LO documents and submitted to the finance units.

Later on once done with lunch, I was asked to arrange up the “BORANG PERGERAKAN DOKUMEN SISTEN E-PEROLEHAN JKNS” according to their departments accordingly from the past to the present dates.I do updated the (Tawaran sebut Harga perkhidmatan ) file .

After a while I do updated the e-perolehan data into the item system of (sebut harga , tender ) according to their specific data. This is a new experience for me where I can learn how to key in those data according to their consistency.

I do also updated the BKA documentations into the system according the the records and submitted to the finance department. Morning today I started my day at 7.50am. Today I  started my day by continuing the Tanjong Karang Hospital data entry because I couldn’t complete yesterday fully and I took time to complete it since I was new with this work. 


After a while , I manage to complete all the 17 pages completely. I also rechecked all the details to make sure that I’d recorded accurately into their e- perolehan system because that is the most important records for them to proceed their paperwork.
