I choose to photograph my schools art hallway. This makes me feel hopeful because seeing the art in this hallway as I walk down each day makes me understand what the students in this school are capable of. My favorite winter break memory is with my two kids- Emma and Mj- Emma was 6 and Mj was 2. It snowed- there was about 2 feet of snow on the ground. They made a snow fort with a tunnel. My mom went outside in the snow and sat in the tunnel. Afterward, they came inside and we made hot chocolate with so many marsh-mellows.

During the Christmas season my little cousins come over to visit from Florida for the holidays. On Christmas Day we all go over to my grandparents house and celebrate Christmas together as a whole family. It’s such a special time because I rarely see my family from Florida. My favorite part is watching my cousins open up their gifts. Seeing the reactions on their faces is so special and gives me so much joy.

last christmas me and my cousin got matching christmas pjs and while we were waiting to open our presents at 12am we sat down on the couch with multiple blankets and pillows to watch old family pictures that were playing on the tv and in the background we had christmas music, while that was happening we were also talking about old memories we had with eachother.

My favorite winter break memory was shoveling snow and and getting paid for helping shoveling snow then staying In the house watching polar express and watching Blackhawks hawk hockey while waiting for the new years to come around and looking forward to the new year ahead and how much is gonna come in the next year. My favorite winter break memory was when I was 6 and me, my sister, and my cousin slept over and made cookies and watched Christmas movies while drinking hot chocolate. The next morning we built a hut behind my shed with sticks then built up the sticks with snow and we made a snow hut that fit all of us inside.
