I follow a lot of sports, but hockey is my favorite. I love playing and watching. I'm on the Ice Crew for Robert Morris this year. I volunteer at my church to teach Sunday School to 5th and 6th graders. I also enjoy designing and creating things. I am the President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers on campus. This year, we're designing a remote control cargo airplane that we will compete in Florida in March. Probably the coolest thing I've ever done was participate in the Red Bull Flugtag this past Summer. We built a glider with a 20-foot wingspan and pushed it off a 22-foot high flight deck at the Three Rivers Regatta. That video is posted below! You can see our craft at 0:17. We placed 9th out of 37 teams.

I am currently in a Co-Op with Columbia Gas of PA as a Construction Management Intern. My goal is to be in a field of alternative energy. There is so much potential in this industry for innovation all while producing clean, renewable energy, which benefits the planet and the everything that lives on it.

Pictured below is a magazine that I subscribe to as part of my membership in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. It contains mostly scientific articles about the field of mechanical engineering. I don't currently read many books that aren't textbooks. Honestly, I read my Twitter feed more than anything else. I used to be more enthusiastic about reading for fun, and I'd like to get back into it. I just don't know where to start.
