- Glittering Eye
- Story starts with ship sailing sail, all is good
- Wedding guest wants to leave but still can't move
- A storm pushes the ship off course in the mariner's story
- Loosing control, getting lost and it's getting cold, ship encased in ice
- Giant bird (albatross) comes out of the mist, beacon on hope that maybe there is land near by
- Ice breaks and they can steer through
- Bird becomes their mascot
- Ancient mariner shoots the bird

- Too dry-mouthed to speak out and inform the other sailors, the Mariner bit down on his arm; sucking the blood, he was able to moisten his tongue enough to cry out, “A sail! a sail!”
- Turns out to be a ship from hell, with only two figures on the ship (death and life-in death)
- The crew all starts to die, except the mariner as night falls

- He starts to realize the beauty in nature, even the see snakes are glittering, he's able to pray

- He was able to finally sleep, and while he slept it rained
- Wind finally came, and he is no longer thirsty (maybe baptized?)
- The moon came out and a thin cloud is raining just over the ship
- Dead crew members come alive to do their duties and steer the ship, but not their souls, the spirit that was carrying the ship filled their bodies instead
- He does not fear the spirits circling the ship because he feels that they are positive
- Ship continued to keep going until noon, driven by "the spirit from the land of mist and snow, nine fathoms deep in the sea." (Polar Spirit) At noon, however, the ship stopped, then began to move backward and forward as if it were trapped in a tug of war. Finally, it broke free.
- He falls asleep, and when he wakes up he hears two voices in the sky discussing his fate
- He hears the spirits making sure that it's the right guy who killed the Albatross (seems as if they were sent by a higher power, god)
