From Yoni's point of view, we know what he is going to do or what he has planned for the documentary he is making. We also know what type of people he is planning to interview for the document. This explains why Yoni is so excited when he sees the goldfish inside of Sergei's house. From Sergei's point of view we know that Sergei doesn't like people knocking on his door, due to what had happened in his childhood. Also, he thinks Yoni is going to take his magical goldfish away from him. These point of views make it more understandable as to why Sergei hits Yoni in the head with a burner.

Yoni knows that he is only at Sergei's door to make a documentary and means no harm, something that Sergei doesn't know and misinterprets. This influences our understanding of the narrative by allowing us to see that the story could have taken a different path and the murderous event avoided had Yonatan simply introduced himself nicely and calmly rather than barging in and being rude, causing Sergei to believe he was there to take his goldfish.
Yoni also knows what he plans to do with all the clips he has collected, something Sergei is once again unaware of. This causes us to understand why Sergei was initially taken aback by Yonatan shoving a camera in his face and invading his privacy.
Another thing Sergei does not know is Yoni's cultural background. Since Sergei cannot understand what Yoni is saying, it leads to a miscommunication as Yoni screams excitedly and Sergei does not know what he is saying, leading to him not knowing how to act and taking Yoni's actions badly.

Yoni and Sergei have completely different personalities. Sergei is introverted. From his POV, we can see his thought process. When Yoni asks to film him, Sergei refuses because he wants to be left alone. When Yoni enters the house, we can see how Sergei panics, especially when he goes for the goldfish. If we were reading the story from Yoni's point of view, we might see things differently.

Sergei knows that the goldfish has more power than Yoni realizes and once this is revealed you understand why Sergei was so violent with Yoni - he was protecting his most precious gift, his fish. Sergei also has many more life experiences than Yoni because he is so much older and has been through harder things in his childhood. Sergei also knows that his goldfish might be his only chance to ever have a friend to talk to because it seems as if he shuts himself off purposely from the rest of the world ; he has used his wishes always for people who don't care much about him and never for himself. There is also a language barrier which led to misinterpretation of what was actually being said.

Yoni is a very outgoing person while Sergei likes to keep to himself. Yoni is talkative and happy but Sergei doesn't even want people knocking on his door. The differences influence the narratives POV because if creates a drastic change to the mood of the narrative. First the narrative starts with Yoni trying to make a documentary and then all of a sudden it flips to Sergei's perspective and how he doesn't want anyone to bother him.

We know that Yoni is young due to his ignorance and personality.

What Yoni knows that Sergei doesn't is that Yoni is recording various responses to the question of "If you had a goldfish that would grant you wishes, what would you wish?" This influences our understanding of the narrative because it helps explain why neither person in the situation knew what was going on, and that the murder wasn't some random act.
