In this adaptation it shows how Jason Todd (Robin and Red Hood) has a good and bad side. When he is Robin he doesn't kill, he fights crime and helps people. When he is The Red Hood he kills criminals and villains without remorse.
 

There have been many "retellings" of the original. Just re-adaptations of the original book with different characters and settings.

The Incredible Hulk is an adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The Hulk is Mr. Hyde as Bruce Banner is to Dr. Jekyll.

 
The Jekyll Legacy acts as a sequel to the original book.

The Strange Case of Mr. Bodkin and Father Whitechapel is a twist off of the original. It was filmed in black and white, in 1920 by John S. Robertson. It follows the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and how scientific means are used to try to reveal the dark side of them.

Another example is Spiderman 3, when Peter Parker is about to put on the Venom suit. When Spiderman tries to put the Venom suit on, he almost becomes trapped and entangled in it. This is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde because Dr. Jekyll has developed a scientific potion that makes Mr. Hyde take Dr. Jekyll over.
