For the year 2020 it aims to increase the investment in productive machinery in its two production plants and achieve a 30% increase in the treatment of recycled plastic for fabrics. In addition, it will increase the staff by 10% to offer a better service in the collection of used clothes.

I will consider both output in garments and waste of projects I am involved in

I will donate part of my time to causes that give back to communities

· I will only design things that are ‘timeless’.

· I will only make things that are built to last.

· Where possible all things I produce will be repaired rather than disposed.

 

In an effort to lessen consumption and reduce waste, all garments designed through ‘Field Denim Workshop’ will be designed avoiding fast fashion trends and they will be built to last. They will be made with fabrics that improve with age and evolve with the lifestyle of the wearer (denim and leather for example). All garments will come with free or inexpensive repairs for the lifetime of the garment so that they can be worn as long as possible

Fashion is a world can change our lifes.

It’s the ensemble of two main words. Self-known and community.

The principles of fashion are in these two words.

Self-known, because we buy clothes that represent us.

We can’t think it but it’s so.

If we understand it, we can change our life. If i buy a t-shirt that has got “hype” in that moment, it’s obvious i’m buying something that other people like.

You should ask your self: do you really like it?

 

Now, we can understand immediately why community is a central world in fashion.

We buy items that represents us in a certain moment but also what give us a feeling to be in a sense of community. 

People need to be part of a community.

 

At the beginning i talked about another concept too. Sustainability.

This is really important for me. 

At a point of my life, i understood i had to change something in my life.

I worked a lot of hours, i stayed a few time with my friends and i wasn’t happy.

We could say, i had a unsustainable life. 

So i thought: Is it possible the life can be unsustainable? 

And i answered yes, it can be. So i started to think about my personality, my job, my life, my self-known and i understood i had to change something.

My attention for sustainability is given from this. I wouldn’t like to see other people im my past situation. Be your self, pay attention to the others and also the nature.

Live a sustainable life.

I will hope that in the future out world will focus on Sustainability and how our actions now effect the future of our planet 

I will attempt to buy all Fair trade products and hope that in the future all products support their roots and offer fair living 

My work will focus on understanding the legal structures and the legislation that allow garment works and the environment to be exploited at the hands of corporate greed, in the hope that we can change them.
