indie rock music videos are know to be very simple and mysterious and American money is set at night and so giving a mysterious feel

The musics video is set in nature and so the artist costumes are very casual and mutual colours linking the costumes with the locations. 
These locations do not seem to be well known since there were no other people around while the music video was being filmed 
Pop genre usually use everyday locations and costumes and so that is exactly what they did in this music video

the song lyrics are quite sad and so the artist are wearing quite dark and casual costumes to suit the theme of the song/lyrics
Most of the music video is set in the woods and in nature and so the costumes are very casual everyday outfits 

pop genre songs usually use every day costumes for the artist so that their audience can relate to the artist as much as possible.
