American Dream: have children  live in a place where their income is affected in a positive way. 

Upward Mobility: certain places give more of an opportunity for their income to be better when they hit adulthood. The marriage rates would also improve. 

Policy approaches: Instead of trying to move the children from their location, try improving the city, little by little. 

Race/ upward mobility: marriage helps with the child income, but some marriages are affected depending on where they live. Immigrants have a good upward mobility where ever they go. 

Surprising fact: the children that are moved when they were younger are less likely to become a single parent.

Surprising fact: there is a smaller percent of people have escaped childhood poverty in the U.S then in richer countries. 

Upward mobility: differ in places where average income is similar

Policy approaches: lawmakers should find ways to help the lower income families. 

Race/ upward mobility: larger tax credits for the poor and higher taxes on the affluent seemed to improve only slightly.

Policy approaches: move children to different neighborhoods and see how it effects their adulthood. Improve neighborhoods 

Race/ upward mobility: help people move to better areas. African-Americans populations have lower levels of upward mobility, and less of an investment in public goods, schools, and bathrooms,  

surprising fact: moving a family so that it benefits the child's adulthood won't at all effect the parents.
